Gilbert S. Omenn, M.D., Ph.D., served as the Principal Investigator of CARET from 1985 to 1997. Dr. Omenn remains very active with CARET as a principal collaborating author of CARET manuscripts. Dr. Omenn continues to serve an active role in analyzing current ancillary studies and in developing and evaluating ancillary studies proposed. (webpage)
